Delicious Gluten Free Brownies

Yes, it’s true…these are gluten free and they’re damn delicious! I promise you! I’ve not had a single wheat infested eating friend think these are gluten free! They’re such a moist, chocolatey and decadent little treat that is ready in less than an hour! I stumbled upon this originally non-gluten free gem of a recipe on All Recipes and absolutely LOVE this platform for finding new recipes!

You can’t go wrong with Betty Crocker’s Gluten Free Brownies when in a crunch, but these seriously are crazy easy and I don’t feel nearly as dirty after eating them. They’re obviously not the healthiest treat…but totally okay since I use organic ingredients…right? Hahaha

Gluten Free BrowniesAnother reason why I love this recipe so much is that it’s child friendly! This is another recipe that my children enjoy making with me and takes so little time, that we’re able to get this delicious recipe made before any of us get frustrated. Ha! Hey…let’s be honest…cooking/baking with children isn’t all sunshine and rainbows. We gotta get in and get out FAST!

What You Need!Gluten Free Brownies

1 cup unsalted butter (use vegan butter if dairy free!)
1 cup white sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup Namaste Organic Gluten Free Flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder

How to Make These Bad Boys!

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and grease 8-inch glass square pan with butter.
2. In a stove top pot, melt 1 cup of unsalted butter. Remove from heat, stirring in sugar, eggs and vanilla. Next, add in the cocoa powder, flour, salt and baking powder. Spread batter into greased pan.

3. Bake in preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, being careful not to overcook.

You can cut this recipe in half or use a larger baking pan if you like thinner brownies. I prefer fat and squishy brownies. LOL If you do cut this in half or use a larger baking pan, be sure to cut the baking time down to 30 minutes instead.
